Love From the Top Down:
A Dialogue
Oh, no, not another love poem!
But, but, wait, this is different! It's a miracle!
Sure. How?
Well, let's take it from the top.
She touched my mind, and it opened like a library.
My thoughts became clearer, smoother, more full.
Hmmph. Is there more?
Um, yes, yes. She touched my mouth,
And my speech opened like a symphony,
I sound more romantic, more fluent, more certain.
Well. Do continue.
She touched my heart, and it opened like a flower.
My feelings are deeper, more varied, more grounded.
OK. But where is this "miracle"?
You see, she has never touched me!
We have never been closer than a continent's width.
Only her words, not even a voice,
Has unlocked my in this fashion.
It may or may not be unique, but is it sufficient?
Hello?
Hello?
