More good stuff, too busy

This has been a VERY busy week for me.

Monday I had my Asheville Radical Mental Health Collective
meeting.  After the meeting some of us went to Westville Pub to
play some music.  Didn’t go well, I needed to leave early.  I
walked about a mile and then a lady gave me a ride home.  Lots
more story there, but I’ll leave it for now.

Tuesday.  Asheville-Buncombe Coalition for the Homeless
meeting.  Good meeting, had fun.  Went home and started
preparing for the Annual Meeting and Elections for Asheville Homeless
Network.  Was up until 5 am doing that.

Wednesday.  2:00 I met with my therapist at my apartment, then at
3:00 he drove me to Mellow Mushroom, where we had a planning meeting
for Asheville Radical Mental Health Collective (and pizza
party!).  Great meeting, went until 6.  Went to Courtyard
Gallery to discuss a Mad Movie Marathon weekend with Carlos.
Carlos has movies all the time, especially Friday nights, and we in
ARMHC had an idea for a weekend of movies with mental health
themes.  Carlos is all for it, with the caveat that the movie
Friday night must be a foreign film (he shows foreign films at the
Gallery every Friday night).  Went home and did more work on the
Annual Meeting, spent an hour and a half updating The Kindness
Campaign’s website.

Then I spent another hour or two finishing up with ALT-therapies4bipolar.info
.  This is my newest website, bringing together all the
information we have developed through the ALT-therapies4bipolar
Yahoogroup, and it really looks good.  I’m having trouble talking
one author into letting us keep her stuff on the site, it is almost
essential, but I can link it one way or another.

Lots of email to process.  My cousin Linda is online and writing
me every day.  And I have to get some sleep, because the Annual
Meeting is tomorrow at 2:00.  If I recover from it, I’ll head out
later to the Open Mic at The Courtyard Gallery, something I try
to make every Thursday.  Of course, I could also go to the
Citizen’s Police Advisory Commission Town Meeting in East Asheville,
but there is no guarantee of a way home from there.

I’ve been getting out to put out fliers for classes on herbalism and
plant growing; a local organic farm pays me to put up the fliers.
There was a rush job to get them out to local acupuncturists, but I
just did not have time to even research where they are.

And I also have a document for The Kindness Campaign to go through and
set up a Table of Contents.  I won’t have time for that until
Friday at the earliest; I’m waiting to hear from Cathy if that’s ok, if
it isn’t a rush.

And Sunday is Barry’s retirement party from The Kindness
Campaign.  It will be my first time at Lotus Lodge, home of the
monthly magazine “Spirit in the Smokies”.

Guess that’s about it.  You’re probably getting manic just reading
about this.  It has been a while since I had a week this busy, and
I hope it’s a while before I have another one.

Hugs,
Me
