There was a small, white mouse who ran the maze so good
The doctors knew he would -- like a Harley
Somehow, the operation made his brain so quick
They sought a stupid man to test their new-found trick
He walked into a class he left three months ago --
He always was a slow, slow student
Teach said, "Charlie dear, I have a plan so sweet:

He wrote a lot of stuff that no one could explain
The carvers of his brain got jealous
One day, his membership to Mensa was repealed
And Charlie retrogressed to back before when he was healed

I love Don Henry's stuff, and he has stated he enjoyed the filks I have done of two of them (see Beautiful Fool).
