Sometimes When We Fight - The Dark Side
Harry Smothers
(Tune: "Sometimes When We Touch" by Dan Hill)
You ask if I am ready, I say, "Shut up! Let's go!"
You're just some jerk who's in my way
Too big, too dumb, too slow
I am the greatest fighter, and my eyes are on the Crown
Your blows are so much lighter, but still you won't fall down!
Your blows strike me so lightly; my helm just broke your sword
I comment on the workmanship, and yawn as if I'm bored.
You're just another fighter put before me in the List
They say my knee shot's no good -
Well, your rib shot clearly missed!
