Trinoc*coN was fun. I’ve had MORE fun at a con, but it was good that I went. My concert went well, and everyone left feeling really good about it. I missed Aimee terribly though all weekend.
My bus got back to Asheville at 3:20 am. There were no cabs waiting at the station, which is rare. I started walking home. I flagged down two cabs that passed me, but they kept going. Heck, I couldn’t even get a couple of cop cars that passed me to stop. My bags were really heavy, it was hard to walk more than a half block without stopping to rest. And I’m really sore today from that. But I got home, and I’ve talked with my Aimee on the phone briefly a couple of time.
I need to go pick up the key and security code for Mountainhouse, where we have our NAMI CARE meetings. I’m glad they trust me with this.- It will be good to get these meetings going again.
Many thanks to my parents for loaning me the money to go to the con. I don’t know what I would have done without them.
