OK, there were 32 people in the jury pool, and they went through 16 to seat a jury of 12 plus one alternate. It was only the luck of the draw that kept me from being seated. This also freed me up for the rest of my week.
News: Gary Gygax died today, age 69. This man almost single-handedly changed the culture, as co-inventor and publisher of the game, Dungeons & Dragons. No matter what you think of the game or gaming itself, you gotta admit his effect on our lives. This is, shall we say, a critical hit.
