There are three kinds of bodily sick people:
One will recover by himself, even without any doctor & any medicine..
One will never recover, even if treated by the best doctor & best medicine..
One will only recover if treated by the right medicine after the doctors advice..
It is for the sake of this last person that doctors work and medicine is made!

Similarly with those mentally infected by grades of greed, hate & ignorance:
One will cure & free himself, even without meeting this Buddha-Dhamma…
One will never be cured, even if taught this Dhamma by the Buddha himself…
One will be cured & freed, if & only if, taught & learning this Buddha-Dhamma…
It is for the sake of this last type of person, that this Dhamma should be shared!

Love is within us. It cannot be destroyed. It can be ignored. To the
extent that we abandon love we will feel it has abandoned us. Denying
love is our only problem, and embracing it is the only answer. Through
the power of love, we can let go of past history and begin again. Love
heals, forgives, and makes whole.
– Ernest Holmes

A long standing resentment is called a grievance. To carry a grievance
is to be in a permanent state of ‘against,’ and that is why grievances
constitute a significant part of many people’s ego…a grievance is a
strong negative emotion connected to an event in the sometimes distant
past that is being kept alive by compulsive thinking, by retelling the
story in the head or out loud of ‘what someone did to me’ or ‘what
someone did to us.’ A grievance will also contaminate other areas of
your life.
– Eckhart Tolle, A New Earth

The truth, the path to the divine, the life of the witness runs through
your heart. There is no way, no truth, no life, except through you.
– Paul Ferrini, Reflections of The Christ Mind

Do you fully realize how very rich you are? Or do you instead choose to
focus on lack and limitation? You are alive and aware in a universe
that is filled with endless possibilities. And as each new moment
arrives, those possibilities increase. It makes no sense to think of
your life in terms of what you don’t have. For that kind of thinking
cuts you off from the real richness that can be yours. Take just one
small positive thing in your life and spend a little time truly
appreciating it. The more you focus on the goodness, the more of it
there will be. The more fully you realize how rich you are, the more
access you’ll have to that richness. The more you appreciate the
positive possibilities, the more valuable those possibilities become.
No matter what your situation or circumstance, life is filled with the
richness of positive possibilities. See that richness and you will
begin to truly live it.
– Ralph Marston

Look well into thyself; there is a source of strength which will always spring up if thou wilt always look there.
– Marcus Aurelius Antoninus

We’re all in place to do something of great magnitude and courage. It
does not have to be anything of wide scope, or even something that a
lot of people know about. It’s about touching the lives of people that
cross our path.
– James Redfield

Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least.
– Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

When we live without connectedness, without an illumination of spirit,
we can feel in ourselves the deep longing of a lost child, a subtle
longing as though we know something essential is missing, something
that dances at the edge of our vision, always with us like the air we
forget until the wind blows. Yet it is this elusive spirit which holds
us completely, which nourishes the heart, summoning us toward our
search for what life is all about. We are pulled to return to our true
nature, to our wise and knowing heart.
– Jack Kornfield

The deepest hunger of the human soul is to be understood, to feel
heard, to feel validated… The deepest hunger of the human body is for
air. If you can listen to another person, in depth, until they feel
understood, its the equivalent of giving them air.
– Steven Covey

Do not withhold your gift from others. Do not make the mistake of
thinking that you have no gift to give. Everyone has a gift. But don’t
compare your gift to the gifts of others, or you may not value it
sufficiently.
– Paul Ferrini

Even though you may want to move forward in your life, you may have one
foot on the brakes. In order to be free, we must learn how to let go.
Release the hurt. Release the fear. Refuse to entertain your old pain.
The energy it takes to hang onto the past is holding you back from a
new life.
– Mary Manin Morrissey

Enjoy present pleasures in such a way as not to injure future ones.
– Seneca

Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it.
– Helen Keller

I have never been especially impressed by the heroics of people who are
convinced they are about to change the world. I am more awed by those
who struggle to make one small difference after another.
– Ellen Goodman

Stop waiting…
Until your car or home is paid off
Until you get a new car or home
Until your kids leave the house
Until you go back to school
Until you finish school
Until you lose 10 lbs.
Until you gain 10 lbs.
Until you get married
Until you get a divorce
Until you have kids
Until you retire
Until summer
Until spring
Until winter
Until fall
Until you die
There is no better time than right now to be happy.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

“To forgive is to know love.”

“Holding a grudge is so commonplace that we do it unconsciously. We
imagine getting even, even for the smallest infractions. Why is this so
important to us? There’s only one reason. We live, too often, from the
ego’s perspective rather than the Holy Spirit’s, and the ego can’t
perceive love in its many guises, or the appeal for healing and help.
The Holy Spirit performs that miracles for us.

How do we go from holding a grudge to feeling forgiveness? The path is
always the same. We can make this simple request: “Holy Spirit, please
help me feel and see only love.” Making the request as often as
necessary is the key to forgiveness. There is no preferred time line.
Some days we’ll make the journey to peacefulness quickly and
efficiently. At other times we’ll have to “change our minds” repeatedly.

It doesn’t matter how long it takes us to really know forgiveness. Once
we do, nothing will ever look quite the same again. Nothing will ever
feel quite the same either.

“I will reap the benefit of letting go of grudges and forgiving others today.”
